  • Provided Roddy Martine, Consultant to VisitScotland, a list of names to be invited to the launch of its genealogical website.
  • Reviewed for the British Tourist Authority guest list for launch of VisitScotland website in Glasgow.
  • Inaugurated "Unitie" tour program to Scotland in partnership with The British Tourist Authority and ETM Travel Group.
  • Friday, January 18, presented, annual Burns Night dinner, featuring Scottish Tenor, Graeme Lauren, and Soprano, Catherine Croall, both graduates of RSAMD, accompanied by John Musto, award winning pianist and composer. Abby Newton, a celebrated exponent of Scottish folk music with a number of recordings to her credit, played throughout the evening.
  • Tuesday, January 22, supported the NYC launch of the book "How the Scots Invented the Modern World", by Arthur Herman.
  • Wednesday, January 30, hosted his Grace The Duke of Roxeburgh at a private reception to promote the Roxeburgh Hotel & Golf Course.
  • Launched a Feasibility Study for a possible ASF Capital Campaign under the management of the Ben Morton Wright, fundraising consultant to Aberdeen University, the London School of Economics, and Scottish Opera, among others.
  • Attended February 6th launch of Scotland Magazine in Edinburgh, Scotland.
  • February 22-24, attended The Scottish Coalition meeting Sarasota, Florida.

  • Monday, April 8, presented "an Evening with The Three Scots Tenors". Sponsored by D. Euan Baird and Ben Nevis Scotch, The Hallmark of St. James Whisky at the National Geographic Society Arts Center.
  • Wednesday, April 10, presented D. Euan Baird Scottish American Academic Forum on Scotland's contribution to the growth and development of the US. Featuring panelists from the Universities of Glasgow, Strathclyde, Stirling, and Montgomery College, Maryland at The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
