This special evening will acknowledge the shared cost of blood shed together on operations today and yesterday. In the presence of HRH The Duke of Kent as well as other distinguished US,UK and Canadian diplomatic, military and business leaders, this event will be held on board the newly restored USS Intrepid and will support the Colonel's Fund, a charitable fund designed to care for Scots Guardsmen wounded in action, and the families of those killed on the front line.

In addition, The Rt.Hon. Lord Robertson of Port Ellen, 10th Secretary General of NATO will be in attendance and will be presented with the Wallace Award® for his outstanding contribution to Scottish American relations.
