The Conference was organized by The American-Scottish Foundation® Chicago Scots, St. Andrew’s Society of Detroit Council of Scottish Clans & Associations Clans And Scottish Societies Of Canada (CASSOC) and Scottish Studies Foundation, Canada.
The theme of this years Conference was
‘Expressions of Scottishness – Exploring the full dimensions of Scotland’s Engagement with North America in 2021.”
and explored the question posed with panels on

– ‘Eco Fashion and Design’,
– ‘Education today’,
– ‘Visitors Heritage Experience’,
– ‘Scotland to the US – Gifts and Food’,
– ‘Robert Burns in 2022’,
– ‘Music and dance, exploring our heritage’, ‘Highland games and festivals’, Sir Walter Scott and, ‘Clan relationships’.

The Scottish North American Community Conference will return in 2022 and we look forward to updating you with news in the new year.

SNACC 2021 was truly a celebration of our community, culture and exploration of Scottish identity – bringing us together to celebrate our love of Scotland.
