Through August 31st, a new exhibition will run at The Perth Museum in Perth, Scotland.
With Macbeth’s story woven in the lands of Perthshire, the exhibition will dive into William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, as well as the true story of King Macbeth who ruled over Scotland 900 years ago. The museum will explore both theatrical and historical artifacts including pieces of cinema, theatre, art and whisky.
A medieval sword that has never been on view for public will be shown, as well as Shakespeare’s First Folio – where the play was first printed. In addition, costumes from theatrical and film productions of Macbeth will be on display.
