We hear from Aye Write Festival Programmer Bob McDevitt about the Aye Write program and he picks a few highlights for us too.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Kirstin Innes, author of Fishnet and Scabby Queen is one of Scotland&#8217;s brightest literary talents, bursting onto the scene with her debut novel Fishnet in 2015 and winning The Guardian&#8217;s Not The Booker Prize for her follow up novel, Scabby Queen.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Robbie Morrison is a debut novelist with Edge Of The Grave, set in 1930&#8217;s Glasgow the story follows Detective Inspector Jimmy Dreghorn on the hunt for a killer loose in post-war Glasgow with a stunning and gritty depiction of Scotland&#8217;s industrial city.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">The Aye Write festival is presented by <a href=\"http:\/\/glasgowlife.org.uk\">Glasgow Life<\/a> and runs May 14th &#8211; 23rd. Taking place as a fully online event this year Aye Write is Scotland&#8217;s second largest book festival and is celebrated as a festival of ideas with over 100 authors taking part in Aye Write this year.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Tickets are available as a Festival Pass which gives access to all of the panels, discussions and readings and the ability to rewatch any events you may have missed or you can buy a single event pass.
