Great news from Scotland that the Edinburgh International Film Festival<\/a> will return this year August 18-25!<\/span><\/p>\n This year marks the 74th annual Edinburgh International Film Festival which<\/span>\u00a0will combine indoor and outdoor cinema experiences and will bring brand new festival screenings to audiences throughout the UK.<\/span><\/p>\n Taking place during the Edinburgh International Festival<\/span><\/a> which runs August 7-29 it’s brilliant to hear this news from Scotland which will see Edinburgh come alive with culture this summer!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ken Hay, CEO of Edinburgh International Film Festival<\/strong>, said:\u00a0\u201cWe all love film and we\u2019re delighted that EIFF is back in 2021, focusing\u00a0on bringing communities together and\u00a0celebrating\u00a0the communal cinema experience\u00a0as widely and inclusively as possible.\u00a0The\u00a0Festival\u00a0will play a leading role in hailing the return to cinema-going and champion Scottish and UK films to audiences and industry around the world. We also believe that in this year particularly, that EIFF has a strong role to play in\u00a0highlighting key social issues\u00a0and will seek to deliver a program that inspires curiosity and action in our audiences.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n The full program will be available and tickets will go on sale on Wednesday July 28th and you can find information about making reservations at the Edinburgh International Film Festival website at www.edfilmfest.org.uk<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n The Edinburgh International Film Festival in partnership with Filmarket Hub are now calling for submissions for budding cinematic talent offering film producers the opportunity to submit their works for consideration of showing as part of a Celtic Screen Talent Showcase.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n This brand new initiative aims to discover high quality unproduced projects from the Celtic regions and match them with leading companies in the international industry.
