Burns Night Dinner : January 16, 2015

The 20th Annual ASF Burns Night celebration, held in association with the University Club, celebrated Scotland national Bard Robert Burns in great style, as every year. 

A reception with Whisky tasting of Balvenie single malt whiskies began the traditional evening's proceedings. The University Club once again provided a magnificent venue for the night and the resounding and animated salute to the Haggis was given by Kenneth C. Donnelly.

Hannah Read and Friends brought their wonderful fusion of Celtic American roots music to the evening, with featured performances from renowned vocalists Maureen McMullen and Jamie McGeechan a.k.a. "Little Fire"; in addition to a terrific raffle with exciting prizes, Scottish Country Dancing and plenty of good company!
