This annual event honors the Scottish born naturalist for whom Van Cortlandt Park's 1.7-mile John Muir Nature Trail is named. Located in the Northwest Bronx, Van Cortlandt Park is the third largest New York City park (1,146 acres).
Proceeds from the event support the care of Van Cortlandt Park, its trails and horticulture, in part through the valuable experience of summer youth employment.
