This week in London, Alexander Lindsay’s latest exhibition will open in London at Stephen Ongpin Fine Art and will run through February 26th, 2023.

The photography exhibition titled “Scotland The Light I Saw” will tour in America later in the year. Lindsay’s Studio is based in Fife, where he utilizes a special technique to capture and print beautiful images from around the world.

He aims to capture “raw” environments, often in wilderness away from human connection.

Alexander Lindsays’ career has brought him to unfathomable places such as Tanzania, where he lived with the Maasai Tribe, then Afghanistan where he made war documentaries for five years – both situations in which he used documentary filmmaking to capture it.

His latest works were shot in the Outer Hebrides and St. Kilda last spring. “he theme focuses on the shifting boundaries between man and nature and the traces left by communities in retreat from the Scottish islands over the course of the 20th Century. “
