2021 National Tartan Day Award

The 2021 National Tartan Day Award will be awarded to Gus Noble, President of the Chicago Scots and Caledonia Senior Living. 

Awarded annually by the Scottish Coalition USA the NTD Award Recognizing the efforts of an outstanding volunteer that help to sustain and grow the Scottish American Diaspora

National Tartan Day Presentation – Scotland & Britain Post Brexit

Rt Hon Henry McLeish, former First Minister for Scotland, on the British and Scottish situation post Brexit will present a discussion of Scotland and Britain – Post Brexit. It will include a Q&A session. This is program is part of the National Tartan Day celebration being held April 6, 2021.

250th Anniversary of Sir Walter Scott and Abbotsford

Join us as we explore the life and legacy of Sir Walter Scott – 250th Anniversary – 6.30pm – 8pm, Zoom Event presented in association with Abbotsford Trust, with insight from Professor Caroline McCracken Flesher.

Professor McCracken-Flesher is a past Convenor of the International Association for the Study of Scottish Literature, an honorary fellow of the Association for Scottish Literary Studies, and holds the Order of the Stag from the Clan Scott Society.
