An Appeal from the ASF Chairman
As Chairman of the American Scottish Foundation, New York, I am reaching out to ask our Scottish-American community to join in our Spring Charity Spotlight. We are asking for you to join us in supporting the Ukrainian orphans recently arrived in Callander, Scotland due to the war in Ukraine. 5 orphanages now housed there.
I grew up in Callander, Scotland and still maintain a house there and frequented the Wheels Cycle Center where the hostel is located. It is a community that believes in generosity and has been working with orphanages based in Ukraine for sometime now and is now working to bring these children to Scotland and safety.
We ask our members and the American-Scottish diaspora in the United States during this year’s 2022 Tartan Week celebrations and this Spring to help support DNIPRO APPEAL in Callander as they look to meet the challenges uniquely presented to Ukrainian orphans.
